Vtec point is set at around 4700rpm now which makes a big difference to driving the car. Power is so much more accessible now.
Fair play - I'm jealous!!
Never really been into modifying cars; slowly getting sucked in - a k100/kpro is all I have on my mind now!
I've not really modified cars before but either (other than the odd induction kit etc) but since reading about the Kpro on here, could only stop myself for a few months before I had to have it! And I've not looked back to be fair so no regrets!

Good pads but the dust is a nightmare
Yeah there is more dust but not as bad as I expected after reading about them. A quick wipe over the wheels and it comes off. Poorboys wheel sealant is excellent for helping with this!

Update: After a brilliant day at TDi North with some awesome people, the Tegiwa manifold and RBC were fitted and mapped.

Car made 246 bhp which was nice. But more importantly is how it drives now:

1st thing is the pull as soon as you put the power on. It's awesome.

2nd thing is the noise... Quiet enough when cruising low throttle but when you give it the beans it hisses and screams all the way through the revs. The gruppe M shouting to compete for attention with the manifold. I 'm finding myself looking for any excuse to go for a drive!

Here's a couple of pics from the day:

Getting ready for dyno

Lou was well off with the power guess
Well I'm well pleased with it mate, but then I've nothing to compare it to..

Lou fitted it, I think it was a little difficult to fit but he spoke highly of it when I was deciding what to get in the first place. I think they're pretty impressed with the Tegiwa parts in general really.

did you use the Hondata gasket?
yeah i did, Lou had mentioned that he didn't think it was worth the price but I went with it in the end. Do you know anything about it? worth it?
Apperenlty it can reduce in intake tempture ever so slightly. I was just wonder as if i end up going for Tegiwa header ill have pretty much the same mods as you. Gruppe M, Tegiwa Mani, Spoon Bpipe, RBC and Spoon N1

Did you have to use a front JDM arb?

Didn't need to change the arb still using the standard one. Nice choice of mods you got there haha  - i wonder what the n1 will sound like with the rbc and mani - mental i'd guess

I've just got a problem with what i think is a rattling heatshield so i'll be jacking the car up this weekend to inspect - rattles at about 2500-3000rpm...

I spoke to johnny from tegwia and he said you need a JDM arb for the manifold?
it started after.... :???:

really? that's not good.... i'll have to give them a call asap... thanks for the info dude
Could be the manifold hitting the ARB, did you fit the ES engine mount inserts?

yeah i did - only seems to happen at certain revs too. I'd have thought TDi would have realised?
