while I was there a car with three japanese dudes parked up to take some pics of the bridge, I think one of them got a bit homesick and asked for permission to have a shot of himself with the car

Spent a day up North yesterday visiting Stevie @ Grinspeed, looking at my gear box.

I bought a set of Mfactory syncros from Stevie to sort out my box that was discovered to be in need of syncros when I had my diff fitted a while ago, had to put the box back together without new syncros (funds did not allow) and was surprisingly fine for many miles and trackdays since, but I had a low rev crunch or two a few weeks ago so finally had to sort it out

Grinspeed spotless garage (filthy by Stevie's standards apparently)

Changed near side CV joint (thanks tuf) and Stevie sealed up a small nick I had on the other sides CV, he also noticed a bit of play in the off side wheel caused by a failed track rod end so a quick call to his supplier and an oem came in a couple of hours.

I then asked for him to check my geo with the Rebel track day on thursday in mind, found I was running 8mm toe in!! he straightened that up a bit and it's made it much less of a handful but not so "chuckable" if early tests are right

and although we didn't have the time for a proper corner weighing we did pop it on the scales for a quick check:-
