Hey there,

I'll defo try and get some videos online soon. I just haven't had the time and the weather has been really poor so hopefully get some done soon.

The sound is very subtle slightly louder than the OEM but when coming up to vtec it really comes alive but not overly loud!

Not posted for a while but the times come to do a small service and upgrade and replace a few parts.

Mintex custom grooved discs
Mintex Racing M1144 Pads.
Mintex Cera Tec
NGK Lasers
Fuchs Titan Pro Race 5-40
Hamp oil filter

Many thanks to Tegiwa Imports for the oil and sparks and Brake Depot for the discs and pads... both quality service!

Will post pics once fitted.

I wrapped my Exhaust and made no difference to the rattling, just wore away the wrap.

I had to turn my B-pipe hanger 90ish degrees right to push it away , still rattles on the ARB if im turning left. :bad-words:

Any ideas as apart from that its amazing :-D

Only a few weeks ago I replaced the mid mount for a J's Racing poly mount and also turned my rear poly mount upside down to completely stop it rubbing on the ARB.

Only requires a few a little tinkering to get it to stop rubbing but you really need to use better mounts to pull it away from the ARB.

How is your scan gage secured?
Cheers, i've worked hard to keep it looking fresh. It needs another enhancement job this summer.

The scan gauge is secure with velcro strips. Im in the process of getting a code for oil temp readings (it doesn't do this as standard) but need the right code for the car.

Thanks for the comments

Just a quick update, i've fitted my discs and pads last night at about 5.00 and it took me about 1hr to complete the whole job!

How easy is the EP3 system to work on!

I had a bit of faffing pushing the piston back into the caliper but fabbed something up with a hub puller and a couple of sockets! Worked a treat!

I will post some pics after i've given it a wash.... hate the rain! go away!

Im always a bit of an arse where I park these days so was nice to come back to a beautiful DC5 parked up next to my EP3 [smilie=karls_thumb.gif]

Front 2 tyres were on the limit so replaced my Autogrip tyres with 4 Goodyear Eagle F1 ASYM2 - my god what an awesome tyre, brilliant in the wet and dry mind you I am coming from Autogrip aka shittyres!

Went with 215/45/17 - Looks so much better on OEM rims - improved ride quality, road noise and all round made the car perform much better! Braking performance has also been greatly improved!

Excelllent tyres so far only had them a week so hoping they get even better with wear!

Not much left to do now - need to book in with Grinspeed at some point for a clutch replacement and then I may sell or just enjoy the motor and save for a new car come new year.

:WOOT Love my Honda :)

Bit of an update,

Not much done to the Civic since the last update. Were in the process of buying a house which is all going quite well so far.

I was close to selling the old girl and getting a DC5 but obviously that plan went on hold.

So in the mean time its been kept clean and tidy and being a very good Honda work horse.

Took a trip to Grinspeed motorsport to get my clutch done. Excellent job and was very happy.

Rear discs and pads were swapped out.

Brembo front discs and pads from guy on ebay called FOS very very good service!

Also swapped out my fronts for RBP Performace and Ferodo DS2500 Pads. The Mintex Discs I had on before were fine but the pads were quite shocking.

So far the DS2500 are really biting nicely and pedal modulation has improved significantly.
