Well i've done it and really couldn't say no tbh, cheap as chips to buy and perfect for the dog.

I give you the replacement for the CTR.
(I'll hold the surprise part of the purchase in hand at the moment)

OMFG.

Unless this is running a Cosworth engine I fear you can no longer maintain Mod/Admin status. Also as above unless you paid £1-£2 I think you have been done.

Haters will always hate, however regardless of price (which was bugger all) it has plenty of life left in it, and will suffice for a couple of years until wedding and other items are bought and paid for.

Of course i look forward to you forwarding your CV, so the site staff can burn in a séance type manner. And as always your comments are ignored. :bigthumb:

Dan paid for this
Looking forward to anyone paying less for anything on this site. 300 for air intake / 500 for full exhaust. :roflmao:

And as said above i will hold out before i tell you just how much life it has left in it for now.

Exactly, incidently if any FN2 owners feel free to share their experiences with losing upwards of half the value of their cars in 2-3 years, i'm all ears (as the cost of this OTR is probably less than your insurance! :-D

Perfectly calm. Looking forward to having a drive are ya? I'm not surprised.

Hopefully Rodan can hit me up with some stickers like "i'm all up in there, like me on your mum" or such.

Nope, CTR will be up for sale in next couple of weeks needs some TLC in the cleaning department first, i.e. detail / polish etc.

I'll leave you with this. (and its genuine, all MOT's and i've even got the receipt from new! £10,600 in 2000)

chris wheela wrote::cooldude: that's pretty awesome, looks in good nic too. What engine is it?
The specs.....brace yourselves.

-1.6 (1597 cc) Petrol Zetec 16v
-94 bhp
-5 speed

In last few months they only had 2 models of escorts as they were fully into the Focus. (they even finished with the diesels! They were bought by the post office of which my old man has one.)

So either "Flight" or "Finesse". This is the "Finesse" so for you extra £1000 it gave you:

-Front fogs
-Alloys
-AC
-Cd player.

wiki blurb
The Escort range was cut down to just "Flight" and "Finesse" editions, and sold for a further two years in parallel with the Focus. All engines except the 1.6 L petrol and 1.8 L turbo diesel were dropped, as were the three-door hatchback, four-door saloon and cabriolet bodystyles (except in mainland Europe, New Zealand, South Africa and South America).

The Flight cost £10,380 and offered electric front windows, a three speed fan and a cassette player. For an additional £1,000 the Finesse added alloy wheels, air conditioning, a CD player, fog lamps and metallic paint. The more competitive prices managed to keep European Escort sales going until the last one rolled off the Halewood assembly line in July 2000, though stocks lasted into 2001 and several Y-registered (purchased from 1 March to 31 August 2001) examples were sold
