On Saturday we went to Gairloch and then on to Applecross via some truly awesome roads. The road to Applecross is legendary, it's the highest public road in the UK and reaches 2500ft. Pretty cool.

Despite the waves of foreign ballbag students having no clue wtf they are doing and getting in my way, it was good times. Some pictures:

Scotland does indeed have some great roads, one of the things i miss most about back home was being able to drive for two or three minutes max, and be in the country side on an awesome b-road.

Strathaven to Muirkirk is awesome, as are the roads around Biggar/carnwath.
The langwhang (A70) was an epic road before the pot holes took over.

Said by many top drivers to be the absolute best road there is in the UK. Top Gear/5th Gear have tested there a few times, Tiff was up 2 months ago in the new BMW 1 Series.

That's next on my list. I've done the lower half which was ridiculous, but the 2nd half from Lochinver to the very North is utter mad. Check it out on the street view

Nice exhaust, though not many exits can touch a Moogen Twin-loop's.

Please paint the bit beneath the Mugen badge on the Grille - you don't have a NHB, so you have no excuse - it would look awesome.

Yeah I know. Twinloop looks better, BUT it is much heavier and it honestly does not fit the car properly....... It fits a UKDM car perfectly well, but on my car it clunks the arb and it can't be stopped. We've looked and re-fitted and tested and it's caused becasue the mani on the JDM isn't as long. So the cat back doesn't clear the ARB as well as it sits short..... You'll be as shocked as I am because like you, I thought Mugen would have made this and done all the development on a Japanese car? So I have no idea. Only reason I am even putting that RSR on is because the Mugen doesn't fit the car, which is most annoying!

What bit are you on about painting???? I just went through every page of my thread like a pranoid freak!! Don't do that to me!

Right, understood - I totally forgot about this aspect (header lengths on the JDM's) - You would have thought Moogen would have accounted for these things. The dreaded ARB knock is fcking annoying.

No mate, it's mint - I'm referring to the section on the grille that gives the mugen badge the 'floating' impression.

I thought it would have been solely made and fitted to perfection on their version of the EP3. It's stupid! There's only about an inch in it

Must be my rubbish picture taking skills dude, the grille is all painted. In fact, my friend Scott just got a Mugen grille but he put black mesh behind it and it looks so much better than nothing behind it like mines

The Mugen Twinloop is awesome. But at the end of the day I have 2 stupidly rare exhausts and it's only coming down to which one fits best...... It's annoying me
