Well he was right up my arse at about 80 so I slapped it into 5th and pulled into the middle lane and gunned it. He wasn't getting by. But he wasn't falling behind either. I imagine he would have started to pull on me eventually, but I shifted up early and let off before it got to silly speeds.

Anyway. Less of that else the BBQ will be on with the 'streetracing' flames

They've got a lot of grunt. That's what I was actually going to buy before I got the AP1, I was actually looking for a diesel. They are about 200bhp but they've got shed loads of torque. More so with a remap.

S2000 is 237bhp I believe. I don't know what the actual is, as iv not had it dyno'd. Won't bother till iv done stuff to it either. Performace mods can wait. I'll be happy if I manage a new soft top/hardtop and a set of wheels this year. It's big bucks when it comes to parts. Soft top is 700 fitted, hardtop will hit me for 800, and I'll be looking at 400-500 for wheels plus 80 quid per corner for tyres. Look up the spoon coupe hardtop. £4000+

I'll get one for sure, but i probably wont use it half the year due to the fact that it cant be stored in car. Its either on, or its off and left at home. At the end of the day its a convertible, so i want the roof down as much as possible whilst its nice out. Based on that logic im probably better off aiming for having the soft top replaced this year, and a set of wheels and rubber. Do coilovers and the lid next year.

there was a z3 in Redline a few months back with a Corvette engine, apparently it was lighter than oem so it might not be as bad as you'd have thought

Nice, silver and red seats is my fav colour combo.

The only thing that lets most S2000's down IMO is the wheels, there mostly really boring.

Agreed, so any suggestions welcome. im loving the two examples i posted, but i worry that the bronze ones may not look so special without the hard top. Still got another 70 pages of Silverston examples to browse through on s2ki, but any suggestions are more than welcome.
