So what did everyone think of UFC 126? Don't want to be a spoiler so I won't post anything that gives the game away

I thought Forrest vs Franklin was a bit disappointing... compared to the fights both have had previously it was a rather tame affair.

And I'm sorry but @ this whole Silva/Seagal connection - a front kick is a front kick unless I'm missing something :scratch:

Anyway will post more opinions once other ppl have watched the fights :thumbup:

So wtf happened in UFC 127 between Nick Ring & Riki Fukada?!?!!? It's almost as bad as TUF 12 when Nam Phan was robbed :scratch: I really don't get how they let such bullshit scoring continue :ymca:

On the upside good fight between Penn and Fitch - wasn't sure about the draw initially, but then if you look at rounds 1 & 2 BJ scored most effectively. And the last round was never going to go 10 - 8 because fitch was never in a dominant position. Rematch ftw.

Bisping was a bit naughty, but I'm not sure that changed the outcome of fight anyway. Note to self - don't talk down Bisping's family or he knee's you in the head.

The other good fight was between Mark Hunt & Chris Tuchscherer - great striking from Hunt and good heart shown from Tuchs.

Yeh for sure - apparently Bisping is getting fined and/or suspended for his actions. Probably partly for the knee and then for not apologising after the fight and being a general ass

That last round was never a 10-8 for Fitch either, not once did he get close to a finish or anything. A 10-8 round is more like the first round of Edgar vs Maynard where Edgar was nearly KO'd twice.

Lesnar will be fighting JDS sometime in the summer I reckon and the winner will fight for the belt

Sanchez vs Kampman - did the judges watch a different fight!?!?

1st Round - All Kampman
2nd Round - Sanchez (based on the 2 times he rocked Kampman)
3rd Round - Kampman

Diego's face was hanging off from the damage done by Kampman's superior striking, yet the judges score it unanimously 29 - 28 to Diego. I'm lost to where the second round for Diego came from - there is no way he could have taken the third round, he got picked apart in the stand up. 1 takedown from Diego, immediately stood up. He landed perhaps 1/2 counters the whole round and didn't connect in his little slug fests at the end. Sigh

So Rua vs Jones? Rua got taken apart - ok so he wasn't fighting at 100%, damn he probably wasn't even at 80% - but hey if you're defending your title then it's up to you to put some effort in training. Jones schooled him and kept such a cool head during the whole fight. Looking forward to the next few fights in that weight division now... I reckon Jones could be spending quite some time at the top!

For those that participate/practise mma, have you used the following knee pads (as i keep brusing my right knee/fills with liquid under the knee cap area of the leg), and if so your thoughts;
Fumetsu (currently have but keep bruising the area not protected by the foam)

It's a busy month for events with UFC Live on 14th & UFC 134 from Brazil on the 27th
