Totaly agree, there are loads of events out there that people should see and not just stick to the UFC. Just wait till you see some of the lads in the UFC that have came from the WEC merger, you will wish you had watched the WEC when you see them fight

Been a fan of UFC for years but only in the last few months been expanding into some of the other organisations (WEC, Strikeforce, Sharkfights) And i was shocked at what i have been missing all this time! Especially the WEC, can totally see why the merge took place. Jose Aldo is an animal! And there an absolute TON of fighters that are really entertainig to watch out there.

I can honestly say I have never seen a boring fight in the WEC. If you like MMA and fancy watching more than just the UFC try and get hold of some Pride from back in the day. I am lucky enough to have all of Pride, all of Strikeforce, all of the UFC, all of Affliction, all of the WEC plus many more on DVD

Yeah i got a few episodes of the best of pride a while back and need to find ful events now. Just finished "aquiring" the full back catalogue of UFC's so always looking for more material to get! Hope to have the same size colection as you in the near future!

Yeh they are available on the net if you know where to look. The last lot I got was the WEC and it was about 60gig I think and that was for a small 50 events so your net usage will take a hammering

The last ever WEC was on Thursday just gone and once again was a cracking event and a good farewell for the WEC

Just take a look at this, it happened in the 5th round and was for the belt. Not everyday you see someone doing that never mind after 20+ mins of hard fighting



UFC fans will see more of Pettis (lad that did the kick) as he will fight the winner of Edgar vs Maynard to unify the WEC and UFC lightweight belts

It didnt finish the fight but the fight had less than a minute left to go when he did it. It was a close fight though and that probably won him the fight and the belt

It was just this weekend gone that Sylvia video. "BIG" Timmy looked terrible and weighed in at 311lbs and was a total joke. To the build up to that fight he was on a couple of fights win streak and was talking about getting back in the mix and becoming a champion again before retiring and becoming a full time police officer
