How did you refurb your bumper/bonnet etc?

Did you do it yourself? or pay someone?

Didn't do it myself - bodyshop done it! Got a few quotes they were all around the £600 quid mark

On one of my alloys the paint was peeling and one was kerbed so decided to get them refurbed. Whilst the car was on stands I thought I'd might aswell paint my callipers to tidy them up a bit.

Only thing that needs doing is the centre caps - the refurber said to sparay up the centre caps would be too labour intensive, cost a lot and that I would be better off doing them myself. I am in the process of doing them now and will update the pics when they are done....

Not much of an update - bit short of funds paid for my college course, just had a service done at honda, a new aux belt and some new oem mats. Car is running sweet :thumbup: That squeeking coming from the belt was getting right on my tits!
I have however done the centre caps and they have turned out really well, but now theyre on the car they are slightly darker so im a bit peed off with them. You cant tell from distance, but when next to the car they stick out like a sore thumb:

Awaiting another set of centre caps going to give them another go see if they come out lighter with less base paint.
Hopefully will be paying R8byb for an un silenced b pipe this weekend so will get that on asap

how much did a front end respray cost ya and what did you get from it bud?

£600 for bonnet, bumper and wings feathered in. It did stick out a bit it made the rest of the car look dull but I clayed, polished, glazed and waxed it and the whole car is gleaming! Glad I got it done everyone comments on how nice the car is.
There's a few other bits I want resprayed; the skirts and the back bumper then it's hopefully a FRSU and get it lowered.

Yeah love Milano CTR's and Cosmic is my favourite colour too.
Mine could do with a good detail tbh the front end is gleaming; the rest is dull in comparison.
Got more important things lined up though at the moment i need a new catback (unsilensed b pipe too raspy) the skirts are being re-sprayed this week and gagging for K-Pro!
I will get there in the end.............
