From what i've read on the rsx forum the dc5 chasis prefere a 50/50 spring rate where the front and rear require both 10kg for optimum performance.

The ep3 requires a harder rear spring, so minster have the coilover fitted with a 8Kg front and 10kg rear.

From what I understand, the EP3 Type-R and the DC5 Type-R use the same roll center adjuster.
But there are 2 more version for other variant of the chassis.

As this is a new product for me and the info is a bit incomplete because there can be a minor differences between UK, US, and JDM model.
But it is a case where either it will fit or it will not.

And if it doesn't fit I am 100% going to refund the full amount including postage, and find out what variant is needed for the UK EP3 model.

I'm tempted to get a set of DC5 track rod ends so i can fit the heavier springs to my EP3, or can you order the 10kg springs in EP3 fitment?

Hawkins is correct that the EP3 prefer a heavier springs in the rear, where the DC5 prefer to have a more even balance springs rate.
That is due to the difference in the chassis, and also the standard suspension setup such as anti-roll bar, etc.

You can request to have the 10/10kg springs on a EP3 coilovers without any problem... but I would prefer to stick with the standard 8/10 setup as it is design with the EP3 chassis in mind. :)

Yep, the long as you like it, thats all it matters.
It is about personal preference, that is why the Zeta-R is adjustable as it mean there are a few ways for you to get the ride characteristic you want.

Also, other mods to the suspension system will change the personal preference or requirement to the springs rate also.
For example, you may want a 10/10 setup if you have a larger rear anti-roll bar, or you simply want less roll in the front and prefer the car to understeer a bit more on the limit so the car is more manageable.

But the standard 8/10 setup is design to be best compliant the standard setup of the EP3 suspension setup based on the standard suspension specification.
But no matter what the number says... if you are confident on how the car behave then there is no need to change anything.
As the old saying goes: "If it aren't broke, don't fix it!"
