Hi All,

Recently signed up to these forums a few weeks ago but got some really useful information that helped in the purchase of my first Type R. I have to say I have never had such a big smile on my face as I did after my first drive home last weekend

I am now finding it very hard to resist the urge to take impromptu drives everywhere (curse you petrol prices )

Anyways, the weather improved this morning so took the opportunity to go out and clean my new pride and joy for the first time and thought I would upload some pictures:

Thanks, yes was pretty pleased with the condition and mileage 56K on an 04' plate and the paintwork is in pretty good condition a few scuffs and stonechips that I will need to sort out come the summer. Alloys were re-conditioned as part of the sale so they are about as mint as they get.

Anyone have any advice on touchup paint for the silver internal door handles and gear knob, both have some scratching which I would like to touch up if possible, I seem to recall reading somewhere on the boards that standard Vauxhall grey paint from Halfrauds does the job???
