Nope this was developed properly for the UK market, on a UK car so will fit with the stock UKDM ARB

and what about the euro-ctr ARB? Does it fit in as well? (I think that the euro-ARB could be different from the UK-spec but I am not 100% sure.)

We did not try it on a Euro car but were advised that the UK one was the worst case scenario. If it fits the UK it will fit all others i was told.

I received the system already today - tomorrow will have it installed so I will post my first impressions after the weekend. However, my K-Pro will be fine-tuned for the new setup only at the end of April so I will not comment the power increase too much yet....

Great news. Would you mind doing a little write up on how it all fitted, how it sounds and what difference it has made to the drive (even un mapped). I know a good few members would like to hear from another member Maybe some quick videos too if you get time.

Their will be no group buy on this product.

It is very fairly priced so we have no reason to discount the product

I spoke to TDi North but they were happy to carry on selling the Toda products.

ABP Motorsport also have stock of this product so you can also buy from them

So, I owe you my first impressions about the Piper! As mentioned above – I have a new Piper complete system with decat. There are some more modifications on the car improving its performance in the straight line – BMC CDA, final gear from Integra DC5, Hondata K-100 (with map for similar exhaust but not fine tuned yet), iridium spark plugs…

Power increase was the last part of my upgrading plan as the handling/general performance of the car has already been a bit improved in other areas in last 6 months (ATB Quaife, improved brakes (new OEM discs, Ferodo’s 2500, goodridge brake lines, racing brake fluid), Tein Super Street Damper, semislick Falken RT 615…).

And let’s say it straight away – it has overtaken my expectations! But I will take it step-by-step:

Installation – a friend of mine was installing the Piper in his car-service… However, the installation was a bit problematic as the Piper manifold is using different screws compared to my car (not sure whether there could be some differences compared to the UK version but I doubt it). Nevertheless, in the end they adjusted the Piper manifold so the whole system could be installed. It did fit under the ARB closely – but did.

Sound – in my opinion it sounds fantastic. The level of noise is just right (I did not want too loud exhaust) and exactly matches with my taste. You can hear the inside/outside sound on the videos posted below by a friend of mine…

Power increase – I can only say it works! Can’t say what is the exact power increase but was a really positive surprise for me – I hoped to boost the power a bit but did not expect that it could work that well…

As you can see my impressions are almost solely positive. The installation is one-off process so it does not bother me anymore. The one and only negative point I can say at the moment is the increased fuel consumption but this could be improved by fine-tuning the Hondata – we will see… But if not I don’t care – most importantly the car goes now!

I believe that for the money the Piper is a wonderful value. It has overtaken all my expectations and in the end I can only say – thank you, Piper guys!

ordered mine on monday and now have to wait 2 weeks for the catback part of the bundle (dam all you others who brought one) although this works in favour for me to organise fitting time and a TDI session with the new K-pro (american version)
