Porsches are not supercars. They're sports cars. They are good cars (now, up until a couple of years ago the 911 was sh-t) I will admit that. I just can't stand the fact that A) they're just suped-up VW beetles. B) No design goes into them at all (the only decent one was the 944). C) Lastly they are most driven by fat bald old stock-brokers with no idea how to drive!

I really don't like the things so I'm going to stay away from this thread or I'll never shut up!

Apparently not sutable for the UK market??

Well one thing is for sure, even if it does come to the UK it definetly won't have an LSD and I'm not sure but I don't think it will have HID's either. It'll just be a normal TypeR but in blue instead of bronze...Thats my understanding anyway.

Carrera GT? 959? I would class any of the current 3.6 litre 911's as supercars (GT3's, GT2's and Turbo) as these use the race derived GT1 engine.

I would do pretty much anything to own a 993 GT2 or 997 GT3RS

In my opinion. I'd rather eat my own nutsack than be seen driving a porsche. They're not supercars, they're sports cars.
As I said before, I'm taking myself out of this post or I'll go on and on...

LSD is not standard on the Euro CTR mate.

But in the UK on mine...........HID's............check, LSD.........check...........as standard? Oh yes!

blue looks good but still prefer my black one. having said that i was overtaken today (my fault for being in the wrong gear) by a nice new 58 plate milano red which i have to say looked fab. caught it at the next set of lights though and exchanged a thumbs up with the driver. it is amazing how CTR drivers acknowledge oneanother - they cant all be members of this site surely. have reached the stage now where even the EP3 drivers i come across are softening their approach to my FN2 and giving the occassional nod as well. as a former EP3 owner, all i can say is rightly so ! both are great cars

not only norwegians, Lithuanians too ;)
And Swedes. There were quite a few countries who got the blue CTR.
