That looks more indigo than the top pic.

Didn't know they'd done away with the glass/plastic grill on the Type S, looking more like the Type R now with those bumpers too.

2009 Type S has done away with the perspex grille and gets a colour coded Type R bodykit like the Sport did on the EP series.

I've never liked the Sport looking like the Type R in EP guise.

Thought Honda struck a good balance with the Type S looking sporty and different to the rest of the range but not like the range topper.

Its to do with sales and also the fact they are trying to target younger drivers with the Type S.
Hence why they've launched a new 1.4 engined Type S with this kit on.

Couldn't decide to get another CTR or not after mine was stolen, but did, and got the same colour, wish I could have a blue one now!!! Gutted, that looks mint!

No it won't have an LSD if it gets released here in that colour and yes it will almost certainly have the same stone chip problem.

It annoys me a little bit that they've made the TypeS look like the TypeR. It makes me feel less special! I've seen people put full TypeR skirts and interiors on the old 1.4 ep1. That really annoys me. I heard rumour they were putting the red H on TypeS cars. I'm very glad they've not done that or there would be some heads rolling at Honda! :boxing:

The Red H is for Type R's only and always will be.

The Red H is for Type R's only and always will be.

My words exactly! I can't remember where abouts I heard it, but I definetly read or was told that they were going to. The EP3 TypeS never looked exactly like a TypeR. You could always tell the difference at first glance! I suppose nobody can mistake my car for a TypeS though as it has 6 TypeR badges on the back (front grille, back, sides and brake cals)
and 6 inside! (seats, mats, dash, an TypeR no.)

I do like the look of the Blue, I liked the look of the CW in the promotion pictures aswell though........Then I saw it in its jizz coloured glory and changed my mind!

I would. They're all rather disgusting! Porshe designers need to move away from the f**king 911. They should be whipped until they come up with something ORIGINAL! :bad-words:

I must admit a mate of mine had a 997 Turbo with the overboost facility installed. It was honestly THE fastest thing cross country that I've ever been in. Truly scary.
It was fast, comfortable and so stable at stupidly fast speeds you felt it could go anywhere.

Porsches are not supercars. They're sports cars. They are good cars (now, up until a couple of years ago the 911 was sh-t) I will admit that. I just can't stand the fact that A) they're just suped-up VW beetles. B) No design goes into them at all (the only decent one was the 944). C) Lastly they are most driven by fat bald old stock-brokers with no idea how to drive!

I really don't like the things so I'm going to stay away from this thread or I'll never shut up!
