The issue relating to DRM can be fixed though if they do desire. I would imagine they'll listen to public opinion.

I personally like the look of it, I would have preferred the disk drive to be more hidden away (especially as its sounds like its hardly going to be needed/used) but apart from that it looks ok to me.

So whens going to be a good time to sell the old consoles?!

That's not going to happen, not with the x86
The only way you will be able to do that is if they do what Sony have done using cloud

I don't get this, to make consoles backward compatible it takes resources and space in the box up, would you rather they made the new console better or sacrifice abit so you can play generation old games on the new box, keep your 360!

besides I'm sure they will go down the cloud route

Another one who doesn't care what it looks like. Or tbh, how big it is. Used games things is annoying, but you'd hope (however incredibly unlikely) that if preowned games are no more, that like steam, there will be epic deals

What resources and space are you on about? The hardware that runs the One would quite happily run a 360 game. PC's don't have multiple sets of hardware for all the different console emulators knocking about.
They could happily make it backwards compatible without much effort but as someone else said in this thread somewhere who gives a sh-t really? People just don't tend to go backwards on anything.
I'm a firm believer in nostalgia and rose tinted specs when it comes to old games.

I don't look at consoles and think wow that looks awesome.

The PS3 fat looks like a George Foreman grill as I said, the PS2 slim looks aesthetically better and so did the Dreamcast for that matter.
