Hi guys,

just wondering have anyone used Exhaust UK custom exhaust in sheffield before, I used them myself once for my old old car but tbh I was young and didn't know what I was doing, so went for the loudest option so no silencer from cat onward lol, it was terrible, loud and annoying

I have no idea of how they perform at all and haven't really seen anyone use them for civics, but at £335 for 2.5" cat back it sounds pretty good to me, at the end of the day it's just some pipes, although not been tested they will fit my car 100% but just don't know about performance? I know fitting just a catback won't really give you any more extra power but I'd like it to be as good as poss, I honestly have no idea would this be a good exhaust or not.


Alternatively I will go to TDI north and have a HKS Hi-Power cat back supplied and fitted? I like the looks and sound from the HKS so even if I do go for a custom one I will try to make one looks like the HKS.

Used them twice, they know what they're talking about and sell cobra products only iirc. Personally I'd much rather have a HKS if you can afford one!

yeah they sell cobra only, which pretty much is a unknown brand, but they do custom made stuff like back boxes in different shapes, so i guess it's a fabricator and a retailer

I'm in a position to find a good 2nd hand HKS, but what do I need apart from the exhaust itself, gasket and bolts...?

Tell a lie I've been three times lol and the third may answer your question. I bought a fujitsubo for my Yaris and took it there for them to fit so answer is buy what you want and they'll make it fit for you plus give you de cat or sports cat whatever you want.

i like the RM01A but they are way out of my budget...i will look for a 2nd HKS now and if i can't...i will visit them and have a chat and see what happen i guess

Beware though I said I wanted a raspy sound from a custom backbox and I was very disappointed it was just growly and s h I t e. the good thing is they'll make you a cobra can that looks like a HKS with mega slant and everything.

I found with havin it custom made the sound and quality wasnt there so i spent £320 on the custom one when i should have put the extra and gone and got what i wanted in the first place. HKS for me. [smilie=karls_thumb.gif]
