will get some eibach springs/frsu for now, the some coilies next year hopefully. lower it 30mm front, 25mm rear :salut:

Will look alot more aggresive with the 30mm drop at the front :salut:

I wonder how these are to drive compared to the old Evo 8 fq 340. Thats the Evo I last had the pleasure of driving although it was running at about 375bhp but the ride was really harsh on the stock Bilstein shocks.

yer defo mate.

well a friend of mine has a 400/400 IX and a soon to be 800bhp X. he says that the X is probs the better car. obvs the X has more computerised assistance and the IX is more of a 'drivers' car etc, but he said the X's a better drive...

luckily the X ha Bilstein shocks as standard, so can get away with just changing the springs for now.

Thats progress for you

I dont understand them sometimes, they changed to the flappy paddle trasmission then decided I couldnt cope with more than about 350bhp so had to put in a 5 speed manual when they have a perfectly good 6 speed that they used on the fq340 & the 400.

Yeah, what's that all about, was just reading the five speed box isn't so great either. I'm not really up to date with evos and looking at this one made me rather interested all of a sudden, the more I look the more I like.
