If my car was even slightly track ready i would book onto this straight away. Will be something i will do in the future, would also be good to meet a few more people off here and see different setups.

thats asking for a comeback Reedy. Im hoping to get on track, see if i can get a few things sorted within the next few weeks. But may still come even if i dont go on track to see how people get on.

for your information brender bender- cars at grinspeed on saturday for a full week for the following-

dc5 HYDRAULIC rack to be fitted along with pump and all fluid lines etc...........also brand new track rod ends and a rack raiser bracket ive bought from gruodiz are already fitted to the rack!

front end polybushed (castor increase bushes)

then a 4 wheel allignment with as much camber as posible (now i have my spc rear arms )

still need to get a lsd fitted and baffled sump before i go out on track!

Loving the enthusiasm in this thread for getting you all on track, Ive seen a few of you recently popping up on HOT, but for anybody else that has missed us; evereybody who helps run HOT are all Honda owners and give their time voluntarily (we even pay the same price for the trackdays as all the other members (no freebies!).

Seems a good forum though, my suggestion would be to book cheaper track days? Maybe just one or two out of season/nearly in where the prices are a little bit cheaper?

Or a joint HOT/CTRO track day?? And any other club that would be interested?

Shame i didn't book onto this, but my cash seems to have just disappeared on other boring things...... I've got the day off work too. Does anybody know if the guys at Oulton would let me into the grounds to watch and talk to you guys but not go on the track?

im well up for a forum trackday,

need a few things to be done before i venture out on track, hopefully by the end of febuary ill have all the things done then i'll be ready for some track action (lsd, new clutch, poly bushed front end, lca's 4 wheel allignment and corner weighting then im ready),

be good to see how the turbo'd civic goes on track.............. :salut:

Id defo but up for some track use with fellow nutters, if my coloer than ep3 ek9 would be welcomed along :p
Not that im biased or anything but Cadwell is awesome for hondas, its more technical than say Silverstone or Donnington. I find Silverstone bland as hell to drive in anything other than 250bhp or more lol
