Mma isnt any good for street altacations really, yeah the boxing base is handy, krav maga is good but if you use it 4 self defense and hurt sumeone its jail time same with all ma. I just concentrate on boxing now dont have the joints anymore for mma would still do some mma circuits as they are the best. Its the w@nkers that call them selfs cage fighters. The pc term is mma fighter

My Sky says Bisping/Sonnen and that is defo the fight happening. Only 3 fights on that broadcast though

oik me imo bisbing was robbed fuking yank judges :bad-words: sonnen won one round and that was the last round bisbing controlled the stand up and defended take downs well, if anything chael should of been docked points for use of his head. if thats who will face silva then its a early bath for silva. rashad is looking good still dont think he'll beat bones though

Wow Maia was a mess - why come into a fight in such bad shape?!! Props to Chris for having the heart to fight it out after such a drastic cut.

Shame Bisping didn't really try and open up on Sonnen, I think a few decent flurrys up against the fence could have turned the match for him. Close fight anyway and Sonnen certainly didn't look on top form.

Lavar Johnson also looked good, be interested in his next fight :cooldude:

Nah Bisping wasn't robbed - Sonnen won the first round, close though it was, with the clean strikes he was landing when Bisping was trying to stand back up from the takedowns. What was a real shame was that there wasn't an extra minute at the end of round 3 - in 10 seconds Bisping did more damage from the top than Sonnen had landed the entire fight. A little more time and those elbows could have won it for him? :think:

just the way i saw it mate plus commentators said chael needed to win the final round, close fight and imo a brit wouldnt have took a points victory that close in the states with yank judges. bisbing controlled the fence and apart from two double leg take downs and the sub attempts in the final round which bisbing defended and got back up thats the only scoring i could see sonnen getting. you should be docked points for lay & pray which you could see bisbing mouthing to the ref that he wasnt working. imo i would rather see a stand up/kick boxer fighting silva but the powers that be want silva/sonnen 2.

thinking about getting one of these wall punch pads for the house i do bag and pad work 3-4 times a week but wouldnt mind something for the spare room that isnt a bag.

any one any experiance with these look pretty good.

Looks too thin to me, I'd be worried about wrecking my knuckles even with decent bag gloves and wraps. You are also limited to straight punches. This is what you want but its 20 times the price.
