Machined Shifter bushings fitted yesterday, much sharper gear changers. works well with short shifter. :bigthumb:

Refurbished the Enkei's as they were looking a little tired.





Some damage to spoke from a wheel brace.



Reoved old Valves, and centre caps. Then Sanded.

120 grit


400 grit


1200. Super Smooth


flatted the whole wheel. Primed, applied first coat of paint.



Flatted. Repainted and Clearcoated twice.

Result.

Yeah all wheels are done inside aswell as the faces now. that was just the first wheel in those pics.
More pics of them all soon. After new tyres of course!

More updates on the car.

Changed rear spoiler, from Carbon Fibre OEM style to Seibon Mugen Spoiler,


Fitted and then Immediately turned the angle to "11"




Upfront I have prepared the Car for the bodyshop.
Removed the area for the "H" on grille and trimmed down the panel.
Smoothed out panel gap between splitter, bumper and also the grille.
Plate Recess Smoothed out.
At the moment it is just in a rough filler as I am no BodyShop worker. Car should be in new Paint in around a fortnights time,





Interior wise:
all parts that were silver have been sprayed Satin Black

• Headunit. (Relatively easy job just fiddley as have to take the front apart.) just 2 screws and clips holding it on.
• Fascia
• Centre Console
• Door Handles
• Central Locking Switch

A, B + C pillars are also all now black. Ready for new headlining,






Retrimmed Steering wheel with Yellow Marker has been fitted a while but haven't put any images up of it fitted,




Cheeky Double Stitching.



Fitted some Alpine Speakers upfront as the sound quality wasn't great. Think one of the Speakers wasn't even working

Used AutloLeads Fascia kit for 130mm Speakers. Screwed into place and then Applied a "TigerSeal" type sealant for less vibration.
Big Difference in sound. may also upgrade rears in near future.




Upgraded all brake discs to Grooved, Read that this was prefferable to drilled as they wereprone to cracking along with mintex pads.
Also painted calipers as they were looking a little tired in a nice gold to go with the wheels bolts (not yet fitted as going on with enkei's)




Also Bought some D2 Rigid Bucket seats in black.
They weigh in at around 6 kilo's, will take a 5 point harness and are a really well put together seat.

Still to do at the moment:

• Send car to bodyshopfor new paint
• Fit D2 Buckets(Need Side mounts)
• Fit Wheels (Need Tyres)
• Sort Headlining and Re-fit interior Trim
