Yup true that - really sharp fast punches and used his head with the knee to the body.

Shame Nam Phan got such a beat down in the first round of his fight, I'd have liked to have seen him win.

Oh and some good prelims, so credit to them :salut:

Anyone watch Hardy vs Lytle?

Very good natured and I still like Hardy, but he really does need some time out. Considering it's a fairly important part of his game, he hardly threw a decent kick and then, right at the end, went for a take down against a very accomplished wrestler with a deadly guillotine? Almost scripted in its stupidity

Yep, think he was a little put off when one of his kicks got caught and got sucked into a boxing match.
Dan did rock him a few times though but whish he threw more kicks! He said he was too caught up in the adrenalin rush and thats why he stayed in the pocket all fight. Good to know he won't get cut though. Better keeping him than replacing him with a lay and pray wrestler.

Looking forward to 134. Trying to decide what fights to bet on at paddypower

Dana's already said he loves Hardy so unless Hardy stops putting on shows, he wont get cut...

Hardy must have some pics of Dana with some hookers or something keeping his job secure

I was personally disappointed with Hardy, he asked for a stand up fight (seen as though he has no ground game) and got one then get beat in the stand up. He needs to take that time off and sort out some mixed martial arts and add that to his stand up game. Lytle could have took him down and submitted him anytime he wanted. Dont get me wrong I am a big Hardy fan but he has looked terrible in his last few fights. He even missed weight for the Lytle fight, not the thing to do when your trying to hang onto your job

IKR - he just never looked like he was going to be the aggressor the whole fight, which can never be a good thing against someone of Lytle's boxing pedigree. He needed his leg kicks to mix up with his jabs and use his reach advantage... unfortunately for him he was beaten in every aspect of that fight. Never looked like winning.

Anyway :salut: to Lytle - great career.

Are we going to have a vote for Spider vs Okami?

I'm plumping for Spider - he's so un-predicatable and has great all round game - great striking, kicks, elbows, ground game. But it's by no means a fore-gone conclusion. Really looking forward to the fight. Lets hope it makes it past round 1

TUF 14 cast announced and it will be showing in september!

Hope this will be a good season this time round. The yanks will now get to watch the shows live instead of pre-recorded.

Well done to Paul McVeigh from DNFT Glasgow! Anyone who reads Fighters Only will know paul as a regular columnist on the training pages.

No one will get TUF 14 live as its already done/just about finished now. The Fox deal will have TUF 15 live not the upcoming TUF 14 mate

I subscribe to Fighters Only and THFE so will be backing Paul as the show goes on :salut:

The lighter weight fights are just about always exciting, mix that with Bisping and Miller it should be a decent show

This +1 but I would love to see him destroy GSP first though

GSP is a very good fighter in his weight class but IMO, the only 'weapon' he'd have against Anderson Silva would be his wrestling if he could take him down - I don't believe he would be able to like he can with the 170 pounders.

Okami looked like he bottled it & just didn't know what to do. He didn't pressure Silva like I expected him to having trained with Chael Sonnen.

I'd like to see a rematch with the 'phenom' Vitor Belfort.....

Apparently Anderson went into that fight with a injured shoulder. Was bad enough for him to be close to pulling out of the fight and had to ask the commission to allow him to take pain killers before the fight (drug testing reasons)

Also for all the Lesnar fans he is making his come back on December 30th this year fighting non other than the newly signed Alistair Overeem

Not so sure based on Overeems performance in his fight against Werdum! Overeem will likely run out of steam after the 1st round if Lesnar pressures him & makes it a grappling battle.
