Also bare in mind the power this will use from the gene and make sure you don't over do it, especially if you're using halogen lights in the evening.

It's a 5kVA one so it should be ok, just got a couple of 150w halogens.

You should be fine then. Last year we had two rigs with two 500w halogen lamps in. We completely underestimated the power draw these had which probably led to out gene fail. We've learnt from out mistakes and done all the adding up this year to make sure our gene can handle everything.

It might be a good idea for someone to bring some duct/duck tape and or cable ties. They always come in handy.

I thought I had duct tape kicking about somewhere but I don't so if anyone has some can they bring it please.
Oh and if anyone has a decent mallet can they bring that too, I've got one but it's almost had it.

I was in B&Q and bought cable ties and some rope. The guy at the till said "Going to be hanging someone or tying them up soon?"

I was all "hahaha."

As I left he said "Have fun!" and gave me a cheeky wink.
