Spec sheet?
I've posted this here as well as in the JAE random chat thread because no doubt it'll get lost in there.

Spec sheets available, if anyone wants one click here
You can either print and write on them or load onto paint if you want the sheet typed.

Many thanks to Lynda and Andy at Rebelmotorsport for sorting this out and hosting.

Electrics query! (because I'm female! )

Omni is bringing a generator which iirc is going to be about 5kVA (although he might bring a smaller 3kVA one)
My idea was to run an outdoor extension lead from the gene into the marquee. The one I have has a max current unwound of 13A (3120w) and has 4 plug sockets in it. Plugged into the extension lead will be 2 x 150w lights and a stereo (unsure of wattage).
Although there are a couple of other things (not high wattage) that might need plugged in so I thought of another short extension lead from the long outdoor one for these items.

Is this safe?
My OH has told me I'm probably going to set something on fire, eletrocute someone or melt everything. I'm not sure if he's just winding me up though!

Should I get a surge protector?

Generator is 5KVA, booked it today. That was the biggest one they did before you have to start towing them on a trailor.

5KVA should be plenty for the lights and the soundz, so long as nobody plugs-in an electric kettle or hairdryer/straighteners in along with them.

What about the extension cables? Will that be ok?

Anyone have a plastic style trash can type thing? Could put it near the BBQ for all the waste food/food wrappers.

Where will the BBQ be? In the marquee?

Usually have a trestle table outside the marquee and the bbq placed outside too. We just gaffa taped some binbags to the side of the table last year and everyone was pretty good at keeping the place tidy.
