Agreed. I think there needs to be consistency though. What Daley did was retarded however.

I guess they have to strike a balance between what is the adrenaline of being in a fight and what is deliberately trying to hurt your opponent outside of the rules. Which is difficult.

I saw it. No real surprises in the results except maybe Arlovski being outstruck so comfortably. I thought he would lose but not so easily.

I think somehow there will be contract disputes with Fedor and Overeem making a potential match difficult to organise. If they did fight though it would go straight to the ground and Fedor wins.

I saw it! What I did find surprising was just how 'easily' Alistair Overeem beat Brett Rogers! Brett is a big heavyweight but Overeem looked so much stronger than him.

Looking forward to a future fight with Fedor. :thumbup:

Strikeforce is hit and miss on Bravo. normally its on the night after the live event around 22:00. its best off downloading it if your a fan though

main event for UFC 114 went pretty much how i thought it would. Evans being far to quick and Rampage looking terrible in my opinion

Yeh I notice Bravo is a bit sketchy with it, I can never find it on the listings. I've only seen round 3 of Rampage v Evans...looked at one point like Rampage was about to get a stoppage or KO on Evans but then once they were up on their feet again, he seemed to give him time to recover for some reason :vconf: he did look slow and sluggish though I guess thats what messing around in Hollywood rather than training will do

Rampage apparently started his training camp at over 250lb but word is he had to start training just to get to his training camp so god knows how heavy he got. guess thats what being a film "star" and sitting on your arse eating all the free food is about add to that time away and ring rust and he looked shit

if you watch the whole fight Evans was close to getting a KO with the first punch

really disapointed that rampage lost, like dnz 21 said ring rust probably had alot to do with it. rashad didnt look good either. if rampage had trained harder and had a few more fights i think it would've went differently. going by the preformance at 114 rashad will get it tough against shogun. also what happened to sanchez he looked poo and out of shape, as for one of the most exciting fighters in the ufc he was beat easily :scratch:

iv been watching this stuff for years but lately the fights just havnt been up to the billing. i wouldnt say i was getting bored of it but just a bit meh at the min

things will only get worse for me when my boy Chuck gets beat of Rich in a few weeks

Agreed, the last few main events just haven't delivered probably since around lyoto vs shogun 1, silva vs maia was awful, lyoto shogun 2 a let down, rashad rampage boring & uneventful (thanks to rashad), there's probably more but all so boring I can barely remember. Its all about the prelims!

How good was that Todd duffy main card knock out (i think tahts his name) - the big triangle of muscle getting knocked out by a pear shape of flab, imense.

I think chuck has half a chance vs franklin, styles match quite nicely IMO. Age + ringrust wont help though!
