Hardy's only chance was for the fight to remain standing & we all knew that that wouldn't be happening with GSP's improvements in wrestling! He never looked hurt though (apart from the grimace on his face when the armbar was applied!). If he works on his grappling & takedown defense, he'll definately put up a lot better challenge in a rematch.
Agree with GSP starting to get a bit 'boring'. Although he is a better fighter now, he was a lot more exciting to watch before he 'discovered' his wrestling skills.

Carwin looked a little nervous when the round started, but once he got hold of Mir & started offloading
I couldn't believe that Mir took so many uppercuts before dropping down!

Brock did look huge when he was stood next to Carwin after the fight. When that fight happens, Brock will need the extra bulk to take Carwin down because if he can't take him down, I think it will be night night Brock! :-D

yea it was a tad sick, i can kinda see where he was coming from though 'I was waiting for the ref to stop the fight'... not saying he did the right thing at all but to look at it from his point of view, he's trying to make his way up the ranks and wanted a sure victory. That said, even if he let go 3 seconds earlier... that guy wasn't going anywhere

I agree with that too, gsp has gone rubbish to watch... gone are the days when he mixed it up, when was his last stand up knock out? He spends too much time in full guard and half guard pushing away with his forarms and dropping short elbows and its just boring.

word is though he has done this kind of thing before so its nothing new. if he keeps on doing it he will be cut from the UFC no questions asked.

his fight with Alves was the same, thought he was a blanket for the night. its a fair game plan in his defence. take the strikers down where they have no chance of winning but its getting very boring to watch

hardy done well mate, gsp didnt want to stand and bang so just took him down at will, which was pretty easy. like most are saying hardy has to improve his take down defense to stand a chance with gsp. that boy has to much natural talent. gsp moving to silvas weight

Must admit the UFC primetime GSP vs Hardy two part programme was more exciting than the actual fight. Ultimate fighter was better than I expected, the highlighted Tito vs Chuck arguments look like they are going to be good :-D

Oooo  He used to be my favourite fighter regardless of him being a bit of a nob. His last fight made him look well and truely finished as a fighter, shame really

i was lucky enough to start watching it years ago and watched tito become the champ then "duck" chuck so he wouldnt lose his belt. he was/has a larger penis than me and i was hoping chuck would smash him AGAIN :-D

one of my all time best bits of the UFC. not just for liddell smashing tito but for the whole back story that goes with it, the smashing up was just the cherry on top :-D

j what is your job?

ill be honest i watched it back in the day like i expect most did for the big KOs but iv watched it for a long time and seen it grow into the massive sport it is now. watching it now i love a good ground game and can read it better so understand it more.

it may come across to some as just a blood sport but it really isnt

Sports TV. (not sky)

It looks like what I would expect to see outside a nightclub up north or something.
