Ye no ac but with what I've done to my current car anythin is more comftable lol.

Csl is 200kg lighter 10bhp more than m3, carbon roof, awesome wheels.

Been in a CSL dont get me wrong. But dam CSL gave me back pains after 30 mins with my mate.

You know what i might ask him to come down to the next meet. If hes free.

I wouldn't be able to tell you how happy I'd be if that happened lol.

I'd be willing to have no spine just to own one lol

The CSL isnt 200kgs lighter. The basic model, which was the first ones to come out, had no air con, no xenons, no radio/speakers. These ones weighed 1380kgs. Very rare to find one of these models, as most have the radio, xenons, and aircon, to make them weigh around 1450kgs. The normal M3 weighs 1550kgs. Mine weighs 1470kgs, and 1450kgs if i take the back seats out, which i do for track days. I dont have any issues keeping up with the CSLs on road or track.

The convertibles weigh 150kgs heavier than the coupe. So, unless you're desperate to be a poser, or are in need of attention from girls, than avoid like the plague.

Powerwise, most M3s get around 325 to 330 bhp on a dyno, whilst the CSLs get around 355bhp. They have the awesome sounding carbon fibre airbox, which sounds absolutely awesome, and different cams in the engine.

Also bear in mind all CSLs are SMG, which is the paddle shift. If you decide to get a normal M3, bear in mind the SMG weighs more, and has a slower quarter mile compared to a manual M3. No matter what you read about how quick the SMG changes gear, its slower than a manual.

The CSL has the tamed version of my Recaros, but i find my recaros very comfy. I was sitting in them for over 7 hours yesterday, and my back was fine.

The wheels on the CSL are actually made by BBS, and is lighter and wider than the ones that come on the normal M3. Im looking forward to buying some, but at a cost of £1500 with no tyres, ive put it on hold for now

Nice bit of info :salut:

Don't understand why someone would want a convertable. Hard tops look so much better.

Will you be coming to another meet. Would be nice to see a close up of the car
