he had his chance for the UFC but chose strikeforce as they would co promote with his management ( M1 Global ) which the UFC wont do. so nope no UFC for him. shame because id love to see him smash brock and mir :boxing:

i dont really rate any of those over groups... i think it was m1 on bravo that he empty'd silvia, just didnt look as polished as the ufc

yeh the UFC is top of the pile but suppose you carnt blame him for wanting a say in his living and on the other hand you carnt blame the UFC for not wanting to co promote. just one of thos things thats stuck in a rut and will never be solved lol

he even took a lot less money to go to strikeforce over the UFC

on a side note though pride was miles better than the UFC lol wish it was still around

id love to start training just for a bit of a hobby and keep fit but i work shifts and just never seem to have enough time in the day

i must have a bout 350gig of mma stuff all cough "borrowed" cough from the net

all of pride including all the tournaments, all of the ufc up to the last one, both of the affliction events, loads of the wec, most of the dream events and bits from here and there amongst a lot more of training DVDs, specials etc

must be about 8-9 years iv been watching it now. pretty hard to get hold of any of it when i first started out

good to see it grow from basically a street fight in a cage to the sport it is today

Strikeforce: Brett Rogers did really well to last that long against Fedor & he even came close to finishing the fight in the 1st round!!
Even though Fedor has many haters in the UFC, you can't knock the guy, he's an awesome fighter!

Anyway, back onto TUF, I was gutted that Scott Junk didn't beat the crap out of that irritating twat Matt Mitrione.

I've also noticed that 'Titties' is getting ever so close to hitting Rampage - I nearly wet myself when Rampage hugged him to make up then groped his left titty :roflmao:

the shot that finished Rodgers was truly awesome! he didnt even pull it back just let it go and bosh out he went

pleased Fedor won though seen as though it was on free TV in the USA and UK and the casual fan can see how good he really is

think the 1st round when he was on the ground had more to do with the cage seen as though he isnt used to it. once he moved off it he was straight into trying a arm bar. shows how good he is to recover from some decent shots straight into a submission

to top it off am pleased i had money on him and Mousasi

i dont think that big black guy i think his name is marcus? has ever hit anybody in anger befor he seemed fine punching in training but did you see his hands in the fight? looks like a girlie slaping with his hands infront of him

I'd love to see Fedor against Brock (you already know how much I'd like someone to beat the crap out of him! ). His punching power & speed are awesome & surprising when you look at his physique + he can take a shot!

iv been a Fedor fan for years now ( i even have every one of his fights ) and its about time he made the cross over to the USA and the rest of the world. at most dont expect to see him fight more than twice a year though

Mousasi trains with Fedor and you can see he is quite similar with his cool/calm fighting style. like Fedor he has built up a solid fight record and is now making it onto the big stage for more to see. he was at the last strikeforce event fighting Babalu for the light heavyweight belt, see for yourself how it goes
