Due to the roof rails?

Good idea and cheap way of lessening damage to paintwork from sun/chips etc..........or maybe the Milano boys like it when they turn into Superbully's Trousers........
Id always like to cover my roof with carbon fibre (the 3M stuff) apparently itd be a proper tw*t to do due to the way the roof curves. :bad-words:

EDIT: or not apparently
no no, you are quite right, the carbon effect vinyls (actually foils) are a complete biatch to worth with! As stated the carbon effect stuff is a foil, not actually a vinyl, imagine a really really thin tin foil with a sticky back! Night mare!

Their was no real reason for doing it other then we could
I was always intending to get the car detailed come the spring, this will be a novelty until then.
Cheers for the comments.

Great for a temp thing but i wouldnt wrap a car for long term. Stone chips will look naff, it will slowly distort and warp. Door shuts, boot shuts etc will have to be done. Cleaning it will be rubbish, i wouldnt like to drag a stone through it!

Think its great for a panel, say to change the roof or bonnet to contrast the car! Never going to be as good a finish as paint, nor as durable!
