It's been a while since I've updated anything, but I took the car up to TDI North on Monday to have the following fitted:
- Wavetrac LSD
- Competition Clutch Stage 4 Clutch
- Competition Clutch Lightweight Flywheel
- TDI North Baffled Sump
Picked the car up today, and now the clutch bedding-in procedure begins. 500 miles should do it, so I'll have to lay off the VTEC until then.
I don't think many people have fitted a Wavetrac LSD or Stage 4 Competition Clutch yet, so I'll report back what they're like when the car finally gets driven in anger :thumbup:
So far though, the clutch is very easy to live with. Got stuck in a few traffic jams on the M6, and didn't have any issues with it. As expected, the clutch pedal is a little harder, and the bite point is different, but I'd got used to it by the time I was home. Admittedly, I stalled the car twice before even leaving the yard at TDI North, but in my defence I'd been driving a Honda Jazz all week

BTW, there were three other EP3s at TDI North today, when I came to collect my car. A Satin Silver with nice alloys, another NHB Facelift parked next to mine, and on the ramps yet another NHB with a "Hondas-on-track" sticker on the rear. No idea if they belong to anyone from the forums, but all were looking nice. Be interesting to know what work you were all having done, if anything.
