Also ask yourself this.............

Milltek - English

HKS - JDM  :WOOT

EvoStu.

Miltek - Hmmmmm, an English made car, with an exhaust system designed and tested in England.

HKS = JDM, which have had no involvement of the Foreign car other than to bend the pipes to suit.

Buy a HKS, if you want a name, buy a Miltek if you want proven system.

My views entirely. :-D
Completely wrong though. Did you know that HKS Japan have an FN2 at their HQ in Japan?
They shipped it over on the first week of the FN2's release to begin development on a range of products for the car.

The FN2 may be English built but its designed in Japan mate and therefore Japanese irrespective of the place of origin.
I have plenty of Japanese products (and english ones) which all have made in China stamped on the base of them, does that mean they Chinese then?

You pays your money you takes your choice.

EvoStu.
I stand corrected your geekyness  If they have a bloody FN2, where's all the goodies!!! by now

HAHA! Thanks mate. I only know this after talking to some of folks at HKS last year but was told not to say anything back then.
They have lots more due out but obviously things are always in development. If HKS do it then you can be sure Spoon & Mugen will follow.

The pictures posted here are off my car:-D
but if you were wondering the system wasn’t too loud, its very subtle which is exactly what i wanted, the biggest difference to be honest is midrange and you can tell there is a bit more torque.
I was worried when terry told me it was HKS i started thinking of skylines and 10 inch exhausts!
Great system and very happy!

Choose whatever u want and get whatever makes u happy. I think they both are good products. Personaly i perfer JDM products. HKS slways makes awesome products. But for me I think dont need to be rush. I think there will be more jdm products coming out soon like Vision or Feel's. Feel's have make mod parts for the (US civic si). So i think alot parts will coming out soon from japan as euro is a big market. :-D

Got mine today. :WOOT
Similar price to a Toda for the EP3 so not as bad as I thought.

HKS boys have been working hard.
Suspensions available, Air intake is available and I hear manifold and cams wont be too far away either.

Just need that mappable ECU.

A bit optimistic ??? Didn't you read the beginning of the thread ? This is dyno proven, car was tested as std, then with the aem filter and then with the exhaust and filter.

You will be reading about it in Banzai next month as this test was done as a tuning feature.

Thanks

Terry.
I have been waiting for the new banzai to be out. Finally it wa sout and guess what. I didn't see this section. Do you know when it will be out terry?

Without crapping XO thread I had my stuff supplied by TDi North and they have listed some details in their traders section.
Price was £636.20

I have very similar mods to the car Gunther and Terry have been working on, plus the addition of the Decat and Grp N ECU so will be very interesting to see what figures we get and how it runs fuelling wise. Have heard that a full race manifold makes it run lean with the ECU so hopefully just a decat should be ok.
Will post figures when we get round to it but pretty busy sorting cars for upcoming drag racing events.

Marty wrote:Can't you map the Grp N ECU?
I thought that one was similar to the K-Pro, but disables your immobilizer?
It's not mappable. It's like the original Hondata reflashes that first came out for the EP3's. They had a map similar to the free "Tuned" one on Kmanager.
This ECU is mapped for intake, header and exhaust so will do most stage 1 mods easy enough until the mappable one comes out and we can upgrade like we did with the original EP3 ones at a reduced cost.

Hi all, sorry for the late reply.

Right then, first apologies over the torque figure - some numpty got the ATW figures and fly figures mixed up so the torque wasn't as great as we thought. :O(

All details including pictures and graphs can be found in our customer cars section on the website http://www.xopowertuning.co.uk

The Banzai feature was missed this month, should be in next month or so I've been told (fingers crossed)

Looks good mate - although wish the pics were a bit bigger!

I'm waiting on details of the HKS intake at the moment....don't think it's too far away....

Thanks, yeah bigger pics would look better but if we did that for everything the website would be HUGE! But you get the idea anyway.

Am waiting for info from HKS too on the intake, not sure how long that's going to be.

Next on the list for the FN2 will be the big brake conversion and header...as soon as it's fitted I will post on here the pics.

Thanks

Terry.
