Brilliant work mate. I know doing this to make you're car different is part of the point but if you wanted a track based road car did you not consider the fd2? Would have saved abit of time and effort?
Have to see those wheels are possibly the best wheels you could buy for a milano ctr mate. Lovely!

oh right, ahha forgot to mention that Im from Australia...
we dont get FD2 down here, and believe it or not
we are just starting to get EP3!! as grey imports
(ironic perhaps, considering FN2 is now a full volume import)

plus, I was never a honda fan, probably wouldnt have bought the EP3 or FD2, but the FN2 hit me at all the right places.
Now just have to make it better ehhe

Nice work on the FN2, shame the dyno isn't in bhp & lb ft as it probably doesn't make sense to most of us!

Would the FD2 not be available to you as a grey import or does no one have a model report on one yet?

The LSD makes a HUUUGE difference. My ATR has a helical diff and the exit speeds are awesome

lukits01 looking great!!!
All importers are offering a comprehensive 3rd party warranty. Honda will honour all recall work, service the car and can do warranty work on behalf of 3rd party warranty companies

That is a very sweeping statement :liar:

Any warranties that are afterrmarket are down to the individual supplier!

Are you talking in australia or the UK and can you prove that a manufacturer has the responsibility or inclination to do recals on a vehicle that what not sold with their backing in a given market? ....history says you are wrong :!:

Hello mate

I'm in the UK. Honda UK have honoured ALL recall work for JDM DC5. Honda UK know the K20 engine and my local honda dealer service a few DC5s. The 3rd party warranty offered on such vehicles is as good as the manufacturers warranty & any VAT registered garage can do the warranty work - that includes Honda.

History says i'm right :cooldude:

It's a fair point fella, but something I looked into before making such a big comitment.

Back to the FN2 - as jules says - will make a great track weapon. I should think plenty of ppl will be trying it on with you only to get wasted

thanks for the comments fellas
Just a thought, considering the EP3 just started coming in as grey imports
I cant begin to estimate when the FD2 will come in.

Here's a quick question to some of you that may have tracked your EP3
is oil surge a problem for you guys? I heard enough horror stories about it from DC5 owners to get me worried...

Only if you run semi slick or slick tyres - if you do I would strongly recommend a baffled sump

that's what I've been told time and time again, but has anyone here actually suffered fatal oil surge?
I'd like to know the circumstances...
Here's what I find peculiar, DC5 one-make race in Japan, doesn't use baffled sump, but they are fine.
JAS motor sport FN2 Gr.R package, does not come with baffled sump.

exhaust is custom job, cat back only, 2.5" mild steel with mandrel bends, no resonator, single entry muffler with twin 2.25" exit
Loud as hell at full song, barely livable... might put in a resonator to lessen the droning down motorways
