Hello.

I just installed 4x6.5" speakers and a sony cd player. 8)

I didnt have a converter from honda to iso, so I cut the honda plug and puted them to a normal iso plug, (3 cabels are still unused from the old honda plug anyone knows what they do?)
well anyway, it all works great. I can use the cd player when ignition are on, and it keeps the memory when I turn it off.

but here is my problem, when the key is at the last step, the step where u take out your key.
cd player loses all power and memory, my central locking system stops working, cant look the doors with the "blipper" etc. :x

so please, anyone knows what could been wrong?
is there any fuse to check that might have something to do with this?

ps. sorry for bad english.

Sorry, no idea mate... but WHHYYYYYY have you cut the honda plug!?!? The person who buys your car off you is probably going have a b1tch of a time installing ICE in there now!! I hate it when I've gotta sort crap out like that.. all for the sake of about 12 quid too! You would probably find that you wouldn't have this problem if you hadn't cut that plug anyway.

Sorry for the rant.

sounds like you've blown the fuse under the bonnet labelled as "backup" (its in the manual)
u wanna get that replaced asap as while the central locking isn't working you cant actually lock the boot

:edit: just realised I'm talking crap as if that fuse was blown the radio wouldn't work either  I'll get me coat

You wondn't expect to find Aftermarket ISO in honda shops. Your best bet would have been in a audio specialist.

Hi
I'm sorry but i don't own type-r but i own EP2 but can u help me i can't register on EP2 forum so i can't get help there, there is somekind problem.

i change orginal radio system away and i use ISO adapter and LG MP3 player and blaukpunkt amplifier. player blow up memory fuse 10 A and when i change the fuse then lg player burn totally. ISO adapter is correct and all wiring is correct and i have measure every wire and double check all wire's and i can't find the problem.

Orginal player works and i send LG player service, but i don't know where is problem.

ATR95, sounds to me like you have (or should i say had) a serious earthing problem, rather than anything to do with the HU ISO connection.

I take it that you are now after a new amp. When you have a new one, double check that you have sufficiently earthed it before connecting the power. To do this find a suitable spot in the boot (best do a search for this), grind/scrape of a small area of paint and then attach with a self tapping screw and washer.

I speak from experience hear as i managed to fry my 1st amp. The problems never come from getting power to the amp, its always when it cant get out.

If after this you still blow the smallest fuse, get an audio shop to check out your wiring.
