Well Light Switches / Heated Seats

I'm guessing a good few folk on here were lucky enough to get the red interior footwell lighting, but I gotta ask, where do the switches go?
The only place I can really see where they could go on my car are to either side of the cigarette lighter, but they are for the heated seats...yes?
And on the topic of these 2 things, are they possible to be installed into the car?
I have an 07, and I'm interested in actually making a start to doing something to this car now it's potentially fixed

Yes those are the heated seat switches from the 5 door exec.
The footwell lighting has no switches mate. They come on automatically with the headlights.

So, the CTR cannot get the heated seats?
And isn't it illegal to have them on while driving? Not that I never had them on in my old car, bright white LED's which you couldn't miss, but that's not the point!!
And more to the point, can I throw my car into Honda and say "put these on please?" and they'll do it as long as the money is counted correctly?

No you can't get heated seats on the CTR and why would you want them?
The LED foot-well lighting can be fitted by any Honda dealer mate and no its not illegal to have on whilst driving.

It can get pretty cold waiting in laybys.

Cause they warm you up when it's cold
I feel as though I'm cheated now, having spaces for buttons which do nothing. Is this when the sound modding comes back into play and I make them into speaker buttons?

MY09 cars come with footwell lighting standard... It comes on with headlights.
There is also the added option kit for lighting which comes on when doors open.
Get this- it's cheap, easy to fit and works great

You don't notice it mate, despite it being a decent level of brightness. My Dads Legend has front and rear ambient lighting and also where the door handles are. Looks nice inside.

The standard MY09 lighting is also not as bright as the optional kit mate.

They aren't dim if you remove the blue covers from the bulbs. They just clip off and you have lovely red lights.
Some people have drilled a hole in the blue covers. Again there are a couple of threads on civinfo as many have done it to benefit fully from the lighting

They are a damned sight dimmer than the optional kit even with the cover mod.
I've seen the threads, I've seen the mods and they still aren't as bright.

Stu you could always fit a remote dimmer unit, this has an on/off switch and will also remember the dimming level you set. The remote is similar to an EP3 remote but TBH is a smaller and dare I say better made

and best of all you just stick this under the dash so no holes are drilled etc.
