That will never happen....
Cars with no MP3/iPod compatability at all can still support iPods with FM receivers.
New cars coming with iPod control, Bluetooth, USB etc isn't uncommon these days

True that, I'd be happy if my car had a AUX 3.5mm jack socket to plug my mp3 player into, like in the Jazz

Because it looks nice. Is that enough?
Never had footwell lighting, and couldn't care less about having it, but heated seats are nice. Got them in the 350Z, had them in the RX-8 and MX-5, would want them in an FN2 if they were available. Wouldn't want them in the Lotus, too heavy for a stripped out driver's car, but definitely worth having in a porkier vehicle.

Don't see why heated needs to imply leather - it usually comes bundled with leather but there's no reason for the paupers on the cheap seats to have cold bums.

(If you own a leather electric blanket, we don't want to hear about it!)

You're soft!

Alcantara and cloth seats do not require heated seats imo.

My tank should have heated seats. What difference does an extra 10Kg weigh? They're fooking freezing in winter.

Does the FN2 not come with something like that as an option?

Aye, maybe a bit

I had a series 1 Elise courtesy car recently - I don't think the seats had any f***ing padding, let alone heating, felt like a plastic school chair!

I see where you're coming from, in that cold leather feels colder than cold cloth, but heated seats don't get warm quickly enough to counter that initial shock. You're already over that by the time the heat starts to seep through.

Plus, you can give passengers who don't know about them the sensation of having pi55ed themselves, which is always fun.
