No, people like you who generalise really f**k me off. I attend over 15 games a season when finances allow me but with a mortgage and a missus that wants everything yesterday, plus the running of the CTR makes things difficult and I have to prioritise my outgoings. as a man utd fan i am quite concerned about the lack of goals. We do not have an out and out goalscorer which is worrying. We lacked in front of goal on saturday and that wasnt because rooney was missing.

For me, i would like to see united sign owen in january, the reason for this is that he purely plays on the shoulders of defenders and with the way united play i think he would fit in perfectly and score goals.

im not saying for one minute that berba, tevez and rooney dont score or are not any good, the problem is for me is that they are all very similar. They drop deep to get the ball none of them really play on the shoulder which is what i think they need.

owen isnt your answer, never will be simply 'cos he is too short to hold it up and far too slow with his injuries

in theory berba should have been your "man" to unlock all of rooneys universal power but for all his flicks tricks and through balls he is too slow too keep up with quite possibly (bar barca) the fastest attacking trio or quartet (if nani is included) in europe, like against the spuds unless it was a slow claculated build up i always though he was 5-10 yards off the pace ie the front line on the last shoulder . and serioulsy if you insist on firing all those crosses some give bera some heading lessons!



some on like drogba, benzema, eduardo, eto'o torress would do wonders at united hell even inzaghe would score a flipping bucket load.

thats our problem though, we have to many players who do hold the ball up, tevez berba and rooney all hold the ball up well, michael owen has necver been known to hold the ball up, its just not his game. as i said when the players hold the ball up, thats when you need players like owen who have pace and can play on the shoulder and make run in order to be played through. berbatov is way to slow for my liking.

see the problem with berba is that for me he is a poor mans ibrahimovic, they are similar in almost every aspect but ibra has that little bit extra over the last two seasons.

also the fact that you lot spunk'd the best part of 32million on him probably doesnt help with the pressure put on him, it affects player in different ways, some thrive on it other wilt under it.

if you lot sign benzema he would be the finishing touch to your attacking option IMO, unlike my team arsenal that need 2 wingers a center back a defensive midfeilder and another striker

no things are not bad at all, its just that i think a good striker with a lot of pace and an eye for goal will make all the difference.

owen is a quality player and made a big mistake moving to real madrid to start with, then newcastle?!!

I rate Owen around quality players and a strike rate of 1 in 2 still one of the best Prem strikers in my opinion, fit and injury free he is class.
