I got to say im well impressed with it, all 136bhp and 300ft Torques Its a monster and im actually serious, i am suprised how fast it is, but then again a Fabia / Octavia Vrs is only 130 BHP and people rave about them

I use to own a Fabia vRS remapped to 170, exhaust, intake system the works done on that fornicater.

I'll come and find you two guys then as i'll need all the advice i can get. I have had a quick look on the RWYB website. I don't think i'd hit 100mph in 1/4 mile so wouldn't require a helmet?

Noob question. In order to need a lid you need to be doing 110mph, so what kind of power is needed to get close to that speed at the finish line? I'd doubt a boggo ctr will get close but what about a S/C car?

A standard CTR will be lucky to break 100mph, a SC CTR on a good run should hit 110mph :thumbup:

To crack the 110mph barrier you will need at least 300bhp (in an EP3).

Ive done 108mph many times but to get that 110 you need to change to 5th which looses you time, unless you have a 9,000rev limit then you can crack 110mph.

My cars been on a bit of a diet so Ill be looking for that 110mph and 12.5ET. :thumbup:

I've just got in and would like to say thanks for such a great day out. Good to put some more names to faces. I'll upload the pics a bit later on.

I did a 15.5 on my 'breaking the virginity' run i couldnt believe how fast the lights changed after the staged part. Just before the snow come down i ran 14.4 at 100mph on a personal note for a first time im very pleased and it was good to meet such nice people.

Hope everyone had as much fun as me and shame the weather shortened the day.

Thanks i was a bag of nerves sititn in the fire up lane and seeing all the people on the grandstand when you'r sitting under the tower for your own run.

Best run i saw from Guy was 12.2 not sure what speed. You could hear the classic JRSC whine a mile off Cressie's car sounded amazing!!

Not long got back from a good day at the pod, nice to see some civics there although i didn't get chance to meet anyone as i just seemed to have bad timing as when i was in the car park others seemed to be in the stand or waiting for a run up the strip. Oh well there is always next time. Shame about the weather but i still got 4 runs in and i posed a 14.9 which i was pleased with as the car is standard and the track temp cold.

Got a vid on youtube (not the best quality), giving a near 300bhp focus a hard time. I could hear his tyres squealing into third, shows power is nothing unless you can put it on the tarmac, he ended up only 0.3s quicker then me as he pulled past me in 4th. Bring on the good weather when i am going get some work done the the civic.

I think new engine mounts are a must to eliminate wheel hop as i had it bad on my last run and backed off slightly in fear of seeing my driveshafts self-destruct!!!

The guy in the black civic had the most agressive start, dump the clutch and go hell for leather!
