Thought i'd post a few pics of my CTR. Have had it a few years but never really loved it, after taking it as p/x for my Evo 8. Recently i've finally found 'acceptance' and am now starting to enjoy CTR ownership properly.
I'll post some pics of what i've done so far, and potential plans. Like i say, the real work is yet to begin. Have toyed with supercharging it but don't think i can justify the expense, as i've plans for my house, so a few choice engine mods will probably have to suffice for now.
When i got it, this was the mods list:
18" x 8" Oz Superleggeras
Lowered 35mm on ABP springs with Eibach camber adjustment kit
Magnex 6" x 4" stainless exhaust with unsilenced centre section
K & N Typhoon induction kit
Goodridge braided hoses
6000K HID headlights
Red genuine JDM floor mats
Debadged front, sides and rear
JVC DVD Head Unit
Smoked window tint from B pillar back
And some pics:

First thing i had to do was get the unsilenced centre section out, asap! The drone was absolutely awful. Sounded quite well in V-Tec but was unbearable on motorway driving. Thankfully Mr Max off here had a silenced centre section that he wanted to swap - don't think he was overly pleased with the deal in the end up!
Then i had to change the head unit, couldn't work the JVC one at all and i've always had Alpine gear so bought this:

Decided that the outward appearance could do with some tinkering so bought myself this fancy bodykit - isn't it lovely?

Not really!
Got my wheels sprayed, wanted them changed from the day and hour i got the car but took most of 3 years for me to get round to it! I much prefer darks wheels to contrast to the silver car - also a lot easier kept!
Apologies for crap pic, it's from my iPhone.

Got the stickers back on the sideskirts - think they make such a difference to the side of the car, which i felt looked very bland in comparison.

Current plan is to get the front bumper and bonnet sprayed, just to freshen up the front end because, although it's only covered 33k miles, it has a number of stone chips. There's also a small crack in the front bumper where i slid against a kerb last winter, in the horrific snow.
Plan to do a few engine mods as well - currently in the market for a Gruppe M induction kit, RBC inlet manifold and, as you can see, i've bought a Dastek Unichip. Had been considering going down the supercharger route, but think i've managed to talk myself out of that. (famous last words)
Anyway, here's what i've bought recently.
These should make the wheels look a lot better. The old nuts are so tatty looking against the dark rims.

Old v New

And the Unichip

Not going to fit the Unichip until i get everything else sorted (and definitely rid of the supercharger idea) because it needs mapped with every new mod fitted.
Thanks for looking
Tim
