Can anyone explain in laymans terms with these velocity stacks are that I see mentioned?

I'm guessing they're used to increase power. Do they actually work and can they be fitted to any set up ( and where do they go)?

Should be self explanatory. Smoother and increased air flow.
You fit the velocity stack on the entry of the air pipe intake. The Injen CAI has the velocity stack shape moulded into the air filter. Some people have made their own intake set ups buying a stack and fitting a larger air filter over the top.

Inwill be fitting my blox velocity stack to my arm cai in the next week. All you need to get is a piece of silocone pipe to mate them
