When you fit these wheels do it with the centre cap not fitted and you will see the spigot ring just spin freely on the hub thay don't do anything ??? I got the size everybody said to use ? Have driven car without the spigot rings and I don't get any wheel wobble. Has anybody else found this just a bit curious

You cant move mine at all when fitted.

Spigot rings are not only to ensure the wheel is central on the hub, preventing wobble.

Its main job is to fill the gap between hub and wheel centre so its the actual hub supporting the weight of the car. If there is a gap, the weight of the car is support by the studs themselves which they are not designed to do and can break.

I've seen it happpen, not pretty

Just found this.

Thats the same size i've got where did you get them from ? Maybe measure it to make sure it is what its supposed to be. Is it loose on the hub or in the wheel ? Mine are a tight fit on both.

Its easier to fit them in the wheels rather than fit them on hub and try to put wheel over top. But strictly speaking it doesn't matter which wasy you do it.

i got a set of evo 9 wheels, i think they are 38mm offset, will they fit with 235/45/17 tires? how differently will they perform? you think i can get away with it by just rolling the fenders or maybe no modifications? stock suspension here. thanks

You'll definately have to roll arches on the back if trying to run 235's you might get away with the 45's as you've running @ stock height but it'll be close.

Another thing to remember is that with stock suspension you'll probably get a bit more movement than with uprated suspension with it being softer.

Were your arches standard though?

Would they have been okay if you rolled arches ?
