They took a focus and just drove it backwards at hi speed through the Japanese equivalent of Halfords and then stuck some mazda badges on it

Bulges in the wrong places... Lines that don't flow.. Forget about ergonomics and controls inside..... Every mazda I have driven gives me a backache on long journeys

I like it, although I must admit the Focus is a better looking car but that's not what I was disputing. When I bought my Gen1 it was £19k fully loaded, cheaper than the ST3 as I remember.

& running costs? My Gen2 is quicker than the ST, half decent MPG & road tax was £225 last time I bought a year.

I'd prefer it if you just stick to facts, things such as i get backache from mazda's or an ST is cheaper to run then a MPS or even a rebadged focus

tell me what were the running costs when you ran a MPS?

what sort of miles did you do in the MPS when you suffered from backache?

How similar did you find the MPS thats just a rebdaged Focus, examples of what they have in common?
