I hope they give it a detuned 2.5 lump! The Q3 has it, Audi has said they plan to put it in a few models and the RS3 wont be on sale when this comes out.

Completely new car. Quad exhausts, front lights, shape, rear lights, etc etc etc

S3 is too small for quad exhausts, they should be the preserve of supercars. On a small hatch its just chav.

I agree, looks sh-t. Generally the RS model has quad exhaust but i expect its just to throw people off.

I don't think the latest RS4 or RS6 has quad does it? Twin oval on both?

Yep, sorry dual exhaust is an RS trait.

Dual exhaust is cool, quad is OTT, i'm not a huge fan of it on BMW M Cars, but its kind of an accepted M Car feature now.

Cars with bigger engines sound nicer, so more exhausts is just a bonus. 4pot cars not so much

Question more for the other thread but this is here now. Are Audi stopping production of the TT-RS before the RS3 comes out? I always thought Audi had this thiing of only ever making one RS model at any one time? Or are they happy to put brand values aside and just rake in money?

You can get them for about £14k now. 320bhp from a map, all weather power, comfort, well built etc etc. Boring though.

The RS3 is for sale and the TT-RS is also. I think they sold the TT-RS along with the RS5 though as well.
They only really had 2 RS models before remember
