Anyone can reset the trip on the move and get an initially stupidly high reading to post on a forum, you naughty girl.

Fact remains that is an MPS does anywhere near 52mpg consistently i'll eat my own sh-t.

I can get the same in the Evo. Hell, it's instant reading goes up to 90mpg. Pushed out a plane, it could probably manage that, but day to day it's 25mpg and an MPS will be similar.

Plus, the 6MPS is saloon only so instant fail in regards to having a baby. You have mo idea how much boot space you'll be needing!!! Just replaced the wife's old Legacy with a diesel CX7 and, have to say, it's superb. The older petrol turbos are dirt cheap and perfect family fodder, as well as actually being good to drive. Same engine and drivetrain as the 6MS but far more space.

Why would an MPS be similar, i never get 25mpg unless im driving hard, its currently sat at 32mpg thats with some mixed driving and mixed roads, on a 50 mile run a do to the coast i sit at 60-70 on the country roads and it will happily sit at 41mpg

Saloon boot is bigger than type r! It's not going to be as big as a 4x4 but I've got the one baby!

Would love X5 but out my price range to buy and maintain!
