Evening gents. My girlfriend has a 2002 Audi TT coupe and she rang me yesterday with a flat tyre in a tizz (I actually hadn't realised she hasn't the first clue about changing tyres) around 2 months back she went out to the car and found the rear tyre was flat after leaving it over night, she pumped it up and it was fine ever since not appearing to lose much pressure if any. Then yesterday she rang to say it was flat again only this time as was late for work she drove a couple of miles on it near flat to pump it up - chances are it's now wrecked if it wasnt already! I wont be seeing her till the weekend but just getting an idea of possible causes, I'll be taking it to a garage but wondered if anyone had any similar issues? She apparently has checked the tyre - no nails, cuts etc. I'm personally thinking either buckled wheel or possible issue with the valve but still strange it should have stayed inflated fully or two months then down over night. Rules out kids having a laugh as it occurred in two totally seperate places! A good old lesson on tyre fitting will be set up in the freezing cold for her this weekend, that'll learn her!
