Make sure it's a good spec Lee as some are like going back in time, apart from that go for it. Slow though. They eat miles so no real worries, heads can crack between valve seats, meaning a new head, but it's pretty rare . Front bottom arm bushes and balljoints are common, put a wheel key on the wheelnut at the front wheel and try and twist it with the car on the ground,if the wheel moves back and forward the bushes are cooked. Also a high speed vibration can@be the rubber doughnut on the propshaft, and clutches use a dual mass flywheel,if this goes it's big money. This is all worst case scenario though, they are generally reliable.

Thanks for the info lad. The car is late 05 with 100k though. Looks lovely though and something am after as i need a family car. Would they be hard to run??

Wouldn't be any more expensive to run than a type r mate, why the family car?

Yea i have the 206 as my daily and the ctr as my weekend motor. And thanks for the good wishes lad and advice
