Well since there seems to be a few Scottish members on the site & I can see a few Scottish team threads popping up I thought I would start a thread for the Gers.

Anyone else on the site a fan? Also good to hear if there are supporters from the other Scottish clubs. Good to get a bit of banter going but let's try not to bring sectarianism into it

Big News @ Greenock Morton

Gordon Ramsey & a Friend are buying Morton ( Greenock is where his family are from ) and with his close links to Rangers he has spoken to David Weir about becoming the Player manager and he is asked to take John Fleck on loan next season and WS agrees this would be a good move for the boy and would build him up

Glasgow Rangers rumours:

IN:
Trésor Mputu (Olympiacos F.C.)
Kasper Schmeichel (Notts County)
Jim O'brien (Motherwell)

OUT:

Some more rumours - none to pleasant for the champs!

It isn't news that Rangers are in a poor financial state!! For this fact there will not be a lot of transfer movement during the summer and the majority will be SPL transfers.

I'm not going to pretend i know where these players will go.

Out

Boyd
Beasley
Weir

In

O'Brien (Motherwell) – Nobody will believe this but he is very driven and would like Champions League football – Top talent in Scottish Football.
Goodwillie (Dundee United) – Young Player of the Year
Webster (Back from loan) – Like getting a new player

Also youngsters will start to get a chance at Ibrox – Murray Park will start to prove its worth.

Cardiff are set to sign DaMarcus Beasley and John Fleck from Rangers in the summer.

Rangers news
==============

rangers fans should enjoy the success they have just now as it looks like very tough times ahead.
According to the Scotland on Sunday newspaper the group that own rangers Murray sports, part of MIH, have posted their accounts showing that rangers owe them £60M for a loan and approx £48M in interest, add this to the £31M they owe Lloyds, gives rangers an approx debt of £139M. This is the reason why no–one wants to buy them. David Murray has lost roughly £400M in value in the past 18 months and cannot write off this debt. Strong rumours going about that MIH are to go into administration in the next week, another rumour going about is that if rangers win at celtic park next then rangers would go into administration and take the 10 points reduction this season rather than next!

expect Mccoist to be manager next season, Wilson to be sold to liverpool for around £3M, Mcgregor will be for the off to the EPL for around £3M, Boyd off to birmingham on a free. one or two spl players will be brought in.

Accies have had a good end to the season Gary. If they had stayed injury free all year then they would most likely have ended up in the top six. The newspapers are saying that they're going to be losing Cerny, McCarthur & Easton for next season so they may struggle.

He is a quality player. Rangers have been monitoring him for a few years but because we're skinto looks like he'll go to the Prem League at the end of the season most likely Wigan to play alongside McCarthy.

Not quite Rangers, but old Rangers news.

We had AZ Alkmaar staying with us for the friendly against the Tims tonight. They seem really hyped for this.

And Mr. Advocaat has been one of the best managers IMO to stay with us. Actually talks to you like a person, and smiles a lot too

Yeah read in the paper it finished 2-1 to AZ. There was little crowd there aswell. Also stated in the paper that Advocaat only has one more game left as boss of AZ before joining up with Russia for approx £4 mil a year as head coach. Crazy money!

Why would you want to waste a ticket at a friendly? Granted Celtic never got any cup games at home ( ), having a friendly isn't the way to go about it.

Anyways, more to the point. 53rd win!! :WOOT

Wait, are you saying Celtic lost, because they beat Rangers in the Youth Cup Final? Or there was little crowd due to the same reason?

Indeed - they are scum (not all of course). Having worked at both Celtic Park and Ibrox, i can safely say that the Rangers supporters are far worse than the celtic ones in the scummy b@stard stakes.

The fcukers that march up and down the street blowing into their flutes need shot in the face too.

Glasgow Rangers have nothing to do with the Orange Order, they just happen to support that team.

That's like saying Shoot Celtic fans as IRA supporters are associated with them, and they used to blow sh-t up. Or kill people who wear Doc Martens because Skinheads wear them, and racism is wrong
