Although not a works team, it is really nice to see the Honda name back at the forefront of motor sport. Looking forward to seeing 'Team Dynamics Honda' blitzing the track with Matt Neal in the seat - incidently any news of the second seat now Johnny Herbert is racing in another series this season?

Its a semi works team mate, because they aren't able to provide "full" backing legitimately.

Theres no works teams left now Vauxhall pulled out! although there is talk that RML will be a propper Chevrolet works team with the new Cruze.

No news on a second driver yet but Johnny Herbert has said he wants to do BTCC and the italian superstars series..

Its a semi works team mate, because they aren't able to provide "full" backing legitimately.

I remember you saying, I just assumed it would be a lot more low key than 'Honda Racing' down the side of the cars... not a bad thing. But I thought they would provide lots of backroom technical support and the team would appear the same from the outside. Either way nice to see the team and brand on the track :thumbup:

The reason they use the five door body is the BTC Regs state they have to use a four door model and to a certain sizse as well

Answers to the last two posts. Integra can only score points in the Independents cup as where built to the old BTCC touring spec and are not allowed to wind the main title now.
New Civc Type R is built to the new Super 2000 Regs as Bmw. Vauxhall. Chevrolet. Ex WTC cars fit the bill as well and score points for the main title hope that clears it up thanks Peter.

Thing is though, if the Integra did win the title (I admit it would be a shock), then it make a huge mockery of the S2000 specs.
I am looking forward to next year though when all the cars use the same spec engine and running gear. At this point I reckon the likes Ford, Honda & Chevy will take charge due to their support and development budgets already being several months ahead of the other teams. So looking forward to this season though. :thumbup:

I was just about to say that looks like the OEM... If it is good enough for the BTCC might have to look at getting a set Nice to see the track car looking like the road car and using the parts, all too often the track cars have the custom kits... just look at the crazy stuff in the WTCC.

Race two at Thruxton, second was Neal in his Civic with O'Neil in the Teg coming third!! Wonder if the tears will reappear on the poduim for Mr O'Neil... good job gents :thumbup: :thumbup:
Second Civic was 11 just outside the points, good show from the Honda guys with the second Integra coming 17th.
