They will not allow it Sam, I see what you're trying to do, and at one stage made my own enquiries in regards to this. It is unsafe, and a dangerous thing to do just to run .2 seconds quicker.

I'm more than happy to sell you my spare wheel, but I do not want you to buy something you cannot use.

Ok Aaron, well thanks for your help on this subject, and all the other guys who have offered info also.

I am already formulating another plan for something slightly different. If i am going to run road tyres/wheels I may aswell use the lightest ones I can!
