basically a wash and wax like they do at the drive thru, but with slightly more expensive products in shinier tubs which do exactly the same.

But instead of costing £5 it costs £150 because its "detailing"

"deeeetailing"

you can get a degree in that now.

Jeez, he was only asking if anyone could reccomend one.
That's the problem. Help was offered but not what the op wanted to hear.

Car covers are good as dust covers but in the open moisture gets trapped between the car and cover add some dust and wind and the paint work is bugged.

This true? I was thinking of getting a car cover for when I clean/polish the car a couple days before I go to a meet/show to keep it clean. If it affects the paint work then :/

I've got a breathable one so it shouldn't be a problem

Not being funny but on the side of the civic not being a future classic because so many have been made!? Look at mk1 and mk2 escorts or sale? They pumped them out every ones dad had one (not literally its a figure of speech) and they not fetch big money for a small cheap family shopping car.

EP3s will all have been killed with ditches and trees long before they get chance to become classics

This, in a nutshell. The EP3 will never be considered a classic due the numbers they sold.

If anything the only Civic of recent memory that could be, are the CW FN's as they only made a combined total of less than 1000 if you take into account the original with 584, the Mugen 200 and the 20.

Mine is currently covered in a tarp in the office stores, and its only covered due to the fact part of the business uses chemicals that can get airborne.

I can understand people living by the seaside and it being left for long periods as salt is pretty harsh to already rubbish paintwork, but for rural places, seriously, no point. Get a good winter protection, job done.

Slates car cover idea, has his car covered in a warehouse flol.
