Tips for getting that Show Car shine.
#3379046
Hey guys.

I don't get much time to spend on my car these days, it's lucky if it gets washed once a fortnight - sometimes it only gets done once a month!!

Shocking I know!

Anyway, I last spent more than an hour on my car back in March, ready for the Magic Show, that was over 3 months ago now already. I've never polished this, only ever performed protection treatments on it - last time it got a single layer of Crystal Rock! Just wanted to show you guys that a well prepped car will always look like a well prepped car if you use high quality materials, and buy into the two bucket wash theory.

Have a look..

Wheels had previously been treated with Zaino Z2 and topped with Swissvax Autobahn.. washed here with nothing more than PH-neutral shampoo!! no specialised wheel cleaner required;

Foamed first using some Valet Pro PH-neutral snow, then washed with a lambswool mitt using the two bucket method!! tyres were dressed with Zaino Z16..

Total time spent = 1hr.

Thanks for looking guys! And happy washing (in this weather!!).

Thread revival :lol: - I got side tracked the other day when cleaning mine and left the car to 'air dry' in the sun. The watermarks were that horrendous I had to start again.

Nice!

I looked at them about 3 years ago just after they came out, and they were impossible to get hold of... but last few weeks of research has seen a fair few on the used market struggling to sell.

Think I need a test drive...
