We have already established stock for stock the 350 is faster, another poster has suggested basic breathing mods closes the gap.

I agree with that statement based on EP3 tuning experience.

Later model 350's also respond well to bolt-ons.

Basic bolt-ons isn't really including kpro and fully remapped though is it?

What you suggested though was not basic breathing mods. Basic breathing mods are an exhaust and filter which I know from experience don't make any difference.

Depends which year 350 as well. The 350 in general is pretty heavy & runs low/mid 14's - VS Ep3 with just intake exhaust kpro, there will be little in it.

The 370z is a mid 13's car

There really isnt anything in it,
DC5 - lighter with better handling and braking
350Z - slightly more grunt so slightly pulls away from the DC5 but even then its nothing noticeable and the 5 can keep up, however the handling/braking/weight goes against the '5

However, both cars are aimed at different market sectors

The later 350z were a second or so quicker to 62 iirc... But then you'd expect it to be its more money than a civic and has another 100bhp...

Maybe if you took the cost of the 350 and got a civic instead, used the spare cash to mod it who knows... Depends what you want..

In a straight line he didn't, we left the pits together and were together at the start of 1st straight, I pulled away on the straight

see this just proves that ep3 is faster. they are racing for nearly 11 minutes and the ep3 is winning, the 350Z can barely keep up
